Gypsy is one of our female ball python's. She is a wonderful girl and very mellow. Gypsy weighs over 2200 grams and is about 3 or 4 years old. Not too sure of her age, as we bought as an adult.
This was her first time in the car with me and like all the others I start out with them on my neck. They soon get the notion to look out the driver's side window and slowly crawl along the edge of the door onto the dashboard.
Everyone one so far has stayed on top of the dash especially when it's nice and warm there. They get the full sun for awhile and warm themselves right up.
The ride they go on is when I pick Michelle up at work. Just about everybody does a double take when I show up or when Michelle puts them around her neck in the store. When we get home Michelle gives them a little grass time for them to enjoy. Most of the ball pythons we have have never been on grass so it is very new to them.
All the photo's you see are of Gypsy, just one of my baby girls.First time in the grass and her hunting instincts kick in.This next one is one of my favorite photo's.bob and michelle

Dude lives in Maine, so I dunno if it gets that hot. Here in Arizona it would definitely, cars are on avg. 110 right now after about an hour parked outside(park cars for a living).
Those pics are nice bro.

Thanks everyone. I check the dashboard before I let them up there. I don't want them burned either.
Yea our car can get pretty hot living in Maine. It got way up in the 70's the other day, what a scorcher.......LOL
We did have some hot days in July when the east coast was going through the heat wave. It got in the upper 90's and with the humidity it felt more in the hundreds. I don't take my snakes out in that heat though.
But I do like taking my animals outside though, gives them a break from their homes. I have even taken my big red tegu out and he likes to sit in the back window and look at all the cars. He must give some people a little shock when they see him.
